What is Craftsy?

Craftsy’s motto is to make people’s lives better through creativity by offering access to the world’s best experts who make it easy to learn new skills. Craftsy has a bank of over amazing 1,500 classes led by industry professionals like me! I even have two Craftsy classes of my own!

Individual Classes VS a Craftsy Subscription

Craftsy offers two ways to access their courses.

Option 1: Courses can be purchased individually and kept for life in your own personal library. These classes can be referenced and rewatched at anytime forever.

Option 2: Subscribe to Craftsy’s entire platform of 1,500+ classes for a monthly or annual fee. A Craftsy subscription allows users to bounce in and out of all classes at will! Feel like learning a new cooking technique, take a specialized cooking class. Feel like learning a new quilting style, take a quilting class! At any time you wish to end your subscription, know that you can purchase any individual class to keep it in your personal Craftsy library.

I loved Marti’s class I bought it last year. Also I use many of Jacque Gehrig’s techniques. I got her book 4 years ago. She is amazing.

I love to watch Craftsy while I’m knitting. I’d say my best surprise is the Angela Wolf “Creative Serging” class – I finally learned so many things about my Brother Coverstitch machine (which had intimidated me with its clunky behavior for several years!).
My favorite class is Lorilee Beltman’s on Judy’s Magic Cast-on (knitting).
I will watch your classes this week – I found your blog thru one of your fantastic Bernina foot videos – probably foot 18. ;). I’ve been sewing on Bernina’s for 38 years and I still need reminders. 😉 You are a fantastic teacher, thank you.

I’ve taken quite a few of your favorites, but my all time favorite was Stupendous Stitching. I had a great time and loved the wallhangings that I made as a result.
